The Windows operating system is a constantly evolving and dynamic product. Therefore, many of the errors are corrected soon after their detection, and users do not have to put up with them. However, there are things that are implemented in Windows is not the best way, and, frankly, very annoying. I think each of you has repeatedly witnessed an error that a particular file or folder cannot be deleted or moved. Windows blocks access to these files because it “thinks” that it is currently being used by another application. But it’s not always the case. This situation often happens with multimedia files.
It is for these purposes of dealing with this error that the Unlocker 1.9.1 utility was created. Using the program is incredibly easy. The next time you see a similar error, but at the same time you will be sure that the file is not used by any of the programs you open, just click on it with the right mouse button. In the context menu you will see the Unlocker item. A program window will appear showing the process (or processes) that uses this file. By clicking the “Unblock” button, you can delete it directly from this program window, or continue working with it from the Explorer. When the program is not used, it will only remind itself of a small icon in the system area. The minimum number of settings – you can only choose to run Unlocker with the launch of Windows or not.
Unlocker currently supports all versions of Windows, including the latest, and is able to work with 64-bit editions. Due to its extreme utility, ease of use and brevity of performance, we can safely recommend installing it to all users without exception.
